Management by Northern Prep Squad is a boutique agency, aiming to not only represent young performers but also help them and their families navigate the industry through professional guidance, knowledge and events.
Based in South Yorkshire, we represent young performers from the age of 4-17yrs from all over the UK and Ireland, not just in the North.
Our management is headed by Jourdan Storey, who has been working professionally in many areas of the industry for the past 10 years. Working closely with young performers and their families is something that we are extremely passionate about. With Jourdan still working within TV/Film and Stage means that she continues to keep up with industry standards and practice as well as bring the best to work with our Squad through our events. Jourdan is excited for what the Management can offer young performers to help carve out their careers and she is loving working with young people through management who are ready to work hard but have lots of fun along the way.

Regardless of where they live, through our events or monthly check ins/challenges, I get to work with them individually and give feedback in order to help them become confident in their craft. This also enables me to know who is right for what casting without having to flick through clients or depend on any type of filtering system."
Just like Northern Prep Squad, we want our clients to be fierce on stage and kind off, which is why we only take on young performers who hold our same ethos and work ethic. We aim to support our clients and their families by creating a personal relationship between manager and client. We want to know our clients inside and out to best represent them which is why we offer extra event opportunities as well as 1:1 mentoring.

We do not charge you anything to join our Management as we work like most agency's, on commission. However, there are minimum costs that working actors should expect to pay for such as Headshots and Spotlight fees (Online directory).
Whilst we can represent you without these two assets, we can not submit you for every opportunity that others might be put forward for.
In short, like most agencies, we can't. Our management team however, is driven to take on a select amount of clients so that you don't get lost in the crowd. We want to know each individual personally so that we can submit them for the opportunities best suited to them furthermore likely to thrive.
Unfortunately this does not guarantee that you will gain representation with our Management. A lot of factors go into considering whether SQUAD are suited for Management and this is not always to do with skill set. In order to fully represent our clients we ask for a monthly update by attending our monthly Associates programme or in the form of a self tape exercise which is free. We want to ensure that all of our young clients and their families are feeling confident when self taping and auditioning, feeling that they are putting their best foot forward as well as getting to know our clients and keep up with their skill set.. So whilst we can't let you know in advance how many auditions/tapes you may receive each month, please be aware that we ask for you to join in with a self tape exercise each month where we will give feedback if you are not part of our Associates programmes.
